Uhm dec 2012 bride here. We went to Lahore from my place after the rukhsati. We had been up for like 18 hrs and my ears started hurting coz of the heavy jewellery and the hairdo. My sis was in the car and she was really hungry so she told my husband to grab a snack in between. We got some chicken tikka and naan for her. Me & him were so hungry that we decided to eat too, and there I was, munching away on tikka still dressed up like a dulhan. He started laughing and said kisi ko men bataoon to wo meri baat ka yaqeen hi na karen, look at you. :D We had loads of fun and I was totally relaxed at tht point. When we reached his house we had a lot of rasms going on, tbh i was half asleep my head started hurting, my eyelash was coming off because of the emotions at the rukhsati and my earssss ooohh.. So at around 11:30 I told him I really wanted to go and get some sleep. We went to the PC, and because it was the 31st of dec it was LOADED in there. Pretty awkward to walk around in ur dulhan gear, lol. His friends came along and pretended they didnt know where the room was, so we walked in the hall from one side to another being stared at.. Phir inhon ne unhe do chaar sunaii and we finally got to our room. I went in first and sat on the bed. He was outside the room talking to his friends who were all of the sudden very clingy and not letting go, lol. The door was open behind him so I got up and looked at his friends.. tars a geya hoga meri halat pe they decided to leave. Then when he came in, we hugged each other first and he told me " Kasam se jaan bht pyaari lag rahi ho.. " And then I told him ab jaldi karen or mere kaantay utaarain bht dard ho rahi he. A lot of sweet things he said and did ahum.. lol. Finally I got rid of my dupatta, and he said, jaan sakht bhook lggi he, burger mangwa len? So there I was, munching on my burger and fries with my feet in his lap jho ke wo dubaaa rahe the :D And outside they were counting 10..9...8...7..6..5..4..3..2...1.. Happy New Year!!! And thats when I yelled Happy Birthday! Coz it was his birthday too, and I got him a gift. I said its your mooh dikhai, lol. Ab mera gift kidr he? Bhool ghe honge? But then I got it, :$ ek nahi do do..hihih
Got married in Pakistan last dec 2012 we saw each first time in real life on wedding day, first thing my husband said was cant believe we r finally married gave me my gift and also help me change the rest of the night was spend just hugging and talking to each other …
Haha it's been four years since I got married, but anyways we got married in Pakistan and couldn't do the hotel thing from the fear of offending his annoying family. The first thing he did was give me a hug which is all I remember honestly then he left the room to go find the damn a/c remote control lol. I ended up changing and taking my makeup off sort of. Then when we finally got settled in he gave me my mou dikhai while trying to be romantic. It was so late, probably 5 am so we were in zombie mode. I wish I could remember more ugh have pregnancy brain right now.
As I remember after our photo shoot he said "I am starving, let's go eat something" so we changed into slacks and head to this little Mediterranean restaurant. Then when we got back to the room he's like "Of oh I have even forgotten to give you the wedding present" lol
me and hubby were in shock mode cuz we both been through alot and to just finally be face to face was amazing , we just had bigggg i mean big smiles he just cudnt stop saying omg ur my wife :)

That is adorable! I think in my case, we'll both be awkward and super nervous and probably not go beyond shy smiles.
