Re: First Muslim Miss England
If a female Muslim Student Association member in any college/university does a fashion show to show the audience native clothing, would it be OK for me to sit in the audience and call her a whore?
Calling anyone a whore is wrong, but it seems like you have derailed from the initial topic in hand which was basically our debate on whether women in showbiz/modelling bla bla should be objectified or not?
I'm sure shes not stupid, when someones on TV, they are judged on everything, whether they like it or not. Just take a look at famous celebrities, are you telling me they like it when photographers intrude upon their personal lives? Are you also telling me that the younger generation going into the same field cannot see what they are putting themselves into? They aren't stupid and quite frankly.. I really don't think they give a s'hit, So why the hell are we arguing over them?
As far as you calling a Muslim model a whore? Well if you have any dignity, any decency or morals. Thats the last thing you'd think of... Btw wth, Muslims and fashion shows? Wow.. just wow.
Also I need to ask why the hell Islam and muslims are bought up into every argument to justify any and everything? Sure for some Islam is a way of life but bringing it into every single debate doesn't really solve the problem or give you a so called upper hand. I don't understand why you bought up Muslim models into this, are you telling me its ok and can be overlooked to insult non muslim models? I thought Islam states to respect Muslim and non muslims alike.
I might be wrong, too many geniuses on this forum.
