Re: …First Murder in This World…
In short, this is a christian view of the incident and sadly is taken by many Islamic scholars as well…
A good understanding of Quran by many learned people suggests that there was no original sin and there was no punishment for men to be sent to the earth due to that (with women, it might be:D j.k. :)) .. And there is a very valid proof in Quran when it is said that ALLAH:swt: said to angels that He will make Adam His Khalifa on the earth (before He had created Adam and before Adam was not even in Jannah)
Hence, there is a reason why the word **Evil **is derived from Eve … but it does not have any islamic basis..
Similarly, the incident of Qabeel and Habeel was a living metaphor for the whole mankind to come and it depicts the very nature of men, not women.. and how still we see replicas of such incidents every now and then after millions of years… In such stories, there is a lesson for people of understanding.. Or for those who become one after going through this…

2:30 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: “Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?” He said: “I know what ye know not.”
