Am not sure about doctors, but I think most people like surprises as I mentioned in another thread.

I don’t know if it is available in your area. Black mugs on which apparently nothing is written. You send a request to the manufacturers regarding what you want to be written on those cups. People even send their picture along with their spouse and any note, flowers or heart shape they want on the cup in which ever design they desire.

What actually happens is that when he receives it, it would look a simple black mug to him. Lets say after few days when he want to use it, the moment he pours anything into it for drinking, suddenly your pic along with an “I love you” note will appear on the mug.

You need to search through Google to be able to find the place in your country from where you may order it. Here in Turkey it is very cheap. I don’t know what they call it in English, but I hope I am able to convey the idea.
