Talkh you thought Resident Evil 5 controls were easy? and MGS4 rough? :p thats so not true, Resident Evil 5 has such a retarded control system, you cant even run while aiming a weapon?
MGS4 had all the classical elements of a good FPS as well as a third person shooter.

MGS4 almost have the same controlling system as MGS3…They are easy though.
RE5 have a control system which fits for RollPlaying Real Time Strategy and Action game. Such as Silent Hill, You cant hit while running arround. And in Silent Hill it gets worst you dont get any bonuses from the deads. 
In These games they concentrate on character aiming quickly and firing which is a bit of a challenge but in the 3rd person, MGS4 is different you aim and take some time to fire because its the 1st person…and 3rd person when you are using small guns.
MGS4 have easy controllers though…I didnt say its hard. 
Do you know what game has stupidly hard controls?..Sonic part 6. Its jokes!!.

i agree with T e J. i think shooting games suck when u dont have total control of ur weapons. and who needs to run while shooting anyways?
i think Re games sucked like early versions were not so good but in RE 4 and5 they have improved alot and the best thing i like bout them is the aiming. its meant for aiming and shooting so their controls r perfect for that. and in MGS they have given alot of other options beside shooting but when it comes to aim and shoot alone they r hard and make u dizzy and like make u wanna kick the console so bad liek wTHey!!!
when i cant concentrate i give a big fat zero to that game.
its the only reason y i didnt like MGS and final fantasy series that much. like how u expect me to shoot while i cant aim properly, duh!!!!!!! and when ur running and shooting u miss alot of targets and u have to shoot over and over again which makes it boring too. while u can eliminate those targets in one single shot if u take a deep breath, aim properly and shoot.
Ahem ahem?!! CSS,SOF2 I used to use PSG and shotgun. I usually walk arround with scope prospective that is Right click to look from 1st person Right click again to look from Scope while running arround. It was pretty fun!!MGS doesnt suck…Their contols are fine! Ofcourse there are few things which completely throws off the mood. For example. MGS 3 You are walking arround with the sniper rifle and have to kill this guy who is also a sniper that Boss hoggs 3 maps before he dies. >.< (Really took me 2 hours to kill that bas…anyways:chai:) MGS 4 when you are killing that bat type guy who has a granade launcher and all you do is camafloge then scope for him hit him in the head and then camafloge again. MGS4 when vanum keeps on getting up and you cant figure out and finally Otocon tells you to “for god sake use the scringe Nayomi gave you Snake!!” those controls are hard and sometimes throws your mood off. But the rest of the the games are awsome.
As for sonic…Do you know that you cant touch your controller when the sonic is at his dual speed mode? I tried sometimes and it leads him to some other location or kills him. lol

Controls for IGI were also good . . .
i liked the game as well . . but some time it was very difficult as there were no save option . . . you had to play the whole level in one go
