Salam aleykum brother
When i recently spent 1 year in bangladesh i noticed that many western brand name items are produced and sold at a fraction of the price in the west. The quality is identical and in some cases its even better than in the west. This gives clear indication that in the muslim lands we have people with talent and skills, but unfortunately they are not utilised by the government in our lands and therefore have to resort to moving to the west or making a living the best they can. What is needed in the muslim lands is the changing of the system of ruling from man made laws to following the Quran and sunnah which will motivate the nation to develop in terms of technology and industry as was witnessed when the lowly arabs became a super power who defeated the Romans and the Persians oncew they adopted the Islamic ideology.
"Ferraris" that look like a DC design piece of ****. This is a shame to Dhaka, the author fails to mention Dhaka has genuine BMW dealerships popping up. I see no difference between Dilip Chabria and this goof, other than the fact Chabria's firm designed the new Aston Martin.
yeah but this guy is just a run of the mill body shop type of guy not a designer. I just think its interesting that without much background or technology he is being innovative.
so the spirit of innovation is there, if the population is provided a better opportunity to gain the right skills, that spirit of innovation can be channeled and used much more effectively.
I can slap bristol board on the side suzuki. It doesnt make it a "ferrari". Or does it according to BBC? Cheap BBC tactics to get readers are disgusting.
BD, Pakistan, India, and many other countries manufacture ACTUAL products which are sold in “western” markets. How is our government supposed to utilise that sort of skills?
All our governments can do is make the land peaceful and invite investors (like the one who manufacture big brands and export it to ‘west’) that would provide its people with jobs and economic stability.
