Stop fighting the complete idea of feminism just because of the label that it is given, feminism isnt embodied just by the likes of Gloria Alred and even Betty Friedan. To me it is the idea that a woman navigates her life as she sees fit, to believe in what she wants, without being told where her "place" is.

what dusi is saying makes sense, however, as you said, there are few people who understand her stand in relation to Feminism. She isn't talking equality in absolute terms. She is taking a stand for the "ligitimate" rights of women and their right to feel an equal part of the society having complete personalities and chances to live their lives the way they want also.
