i can understand the slim part but what if someone has a darker complexion. does it mean that her (or his if it can happen) feet can't be considered prettier. i will have to study the female foot from now on. most of them in the office where shoes or at least i think they do.

Hmm. Disco, let me ask you something. Whom do you wear shoes/sandals for? If for yourself, why are you concerned with what people on high street are thinking? grin
Another thing, if you feel that fair feet are prettier than darker feet, thats one thing, but who says others feel that way too? Does color really make the difference in beauty?
Do you feel that your opinion represents everyone elses opinion? Surely you dont. So let others decide about your and everyone elses feet, if they must.
Most people are very critical about their own looks, and lets not take into consideration always what family says about your personal apperance. Allow others to judge for themselves dahlin. You’re a beauty mash’Allah and you shouldnt be proud of the beauty, but you should be thankful, and learn to appreciate what Allah has given you. If you want to wear sandals, wear them with content. Because you are not doing it to show off but for yourself.

I used to have zig zag marks (sandals) in the beginning when I came to Pakiland (b/c of the sun) but now when I go to college, I wear shoes that cover my feet almost entirely to prevent getting em tanned. Helps a lot.

It's all a bit crazy! Have you heard of all the women who are paying thousands of dollar/pounds to have plastic surgery on there feet so they are the right shape to fit in to the pointy shoes that are in. Talk about going to far! We should appreciate what ever Allah SWT has blessed us with black or white, pretty or ugly.

I have really long, really slim feet which is a nightmare cos i cant find any nice shoes that will fit me so i have to wear trainers and lace up shoes all the time.
