nah..here’s ten things that make DeeCee a great place for pink panther to live:

  1. my family is here
  2. my frends are here
  3. it’s got the deecee metro
  4. we’ve got the best fried chikin in the country
  5. we’ve got the best concerts in the country
  6. our famous cherry blossom trees :blush:
  7. the radio stations are clear and play good hip hop music
  8. theres lots of different ppl here…lots of blax, whites, spanish, desi, etc…
  9. the white house is there , just in case we have an outburst and decide to throw trash into bush’s front yard :stuck_out_tongue:
  10. the city lights at night time are absolutely beautiful…and we’ve got the best fireworks on the 4th of july…

Ok, just kidding, moved here cos I asked my company to transfer me here. Wanted to try a new life outside the UK cos of sooooo many reasons - personal, economic, jobwise, etc etc etc…

thats weird cuz I have a canadian friend whos come to study here…she does my course…and the reason she came was because she said its TOO expensive to go uni in Canada or america in general…she pays around £20,000 per year or more in total over here for studies and rent etc…if she finds £20,000 cheap then canada MUST be expensive

she also said its very hard to get into medical schools or pharmacy schools (which is what she is doing here) in Canada…too much competition…and she is MEGA clever…probably the most cleverest in the whole class (not 4getting that im probably the opposite cuz I dont know the meaning of the word study:p)

its not…alot of people come to UK for education…birmingham to be precise…I rest my case

it cant be free cuz that girl was a canadian citizen…still is.

UK is the best…the no. of “mangaitar” and immigrants coming here proves it :slight_smile:

I’ve checked and college education in Canada is only about 3 times more than the Uk, which means 3 times cheap. But given that the good universities in the UK are soon going to be able to charge three times as much anyway, the cost of education is on par.

By the way - for a Canadian citizen to study in the UK, she have to pay full international tuition rates which makes it about the same as US rates.
