yep been a big improvement in linux since 1999 when I first got a copy. Corel Linux I think it was, big upgrade as it supported USB I think. Since then a lot of good distros like Mandrake have become bloated with as many utilites as possible with it which is fine for noobs but I hate it. Thats the good thing with Linux plenty of other distros and Gentoo fits my needs perfect. It all comes down to user needs which is where it has a massive advantage of MS. Only drawback for me is photoshop and Macromedia software not ported over to Linux although Macromedia have Dreamweaver compliant with crossover office so can be made to work in Linux.
