yarr samb, tum nay to emotional kar dala...yarra, stop putting Ws pictures..........it makes me so sad when ever i saw them....as i said many times in my earlier posts, my generation grew up seein waqar and wasim ( from 1984 to 2002) and now i am tryin to forget both Ws's magic...so that i can start living in present and be more logical while discussing current paki. fast bowlers....

i love both of them..........especially waqar younis yarr....well wasim too..........if waqar was the king , wasim was the prince............and no need to start a fight guys that who was the king....both of them were simply genuis with total of 1800 wickets between them ( test+oneday wickets)..... whenever i see their pics, it always takes me back into days of 1990-1996 when waqar and wasim would produce a magical spell every other match..........anyone remember a series in SA against SA where pak beat SA in three one day matches in a row....it was wasim's first series as skipper...i guess right after when javed was removed from captinacy................in every match we were down until wasim and waqar would start last 12 overs and then...well you guys know what would have happened....

i guess i am more emotional after india scored 675....if Ws were around india would have never crossed 450.....but forget damn WS and lets live with these dumb SSS....

WAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jonty Rhodes, as ever, setting the standard for fielding..

[thumb=E]jonty20384_8320660.JPG[/thumb]

flexible enough to squeeze his boneless body through the neck of a beer bottle :smokin:

Have you also his dive to run out Imzimum at world cup? That really put him on the world map.

Young fast bowler of India—

Laxmipathy Balaji

These two have been one of my fav all-time bowlers. Their grace was unmatchable.

5abi, great pics. I had never seen Imran's B&W in a follow-thru.

South Africa was facing Pakistan in March 1992 in the World Cup in a match played in Brisbane. The dangerous Inzamam ul-Haq was at the crease for Pakistan when he discovered just how good Rhodes is in the field.

*The dive that astounded the cricketing world. *
(Photo: Jonty.co.za)](http://www.safrica.info/ess_info/sa_glance/sports/rhodes.htm)

That run out:

Swooping onto a ball from his position at backward point, Rhodes raced ul-Haq, who had ventured down the pitch, to the crease, beating him, with his right arm holding the ball and extended like Superman, with a dive that knocked all three stumps out of the ground. The pictures were shown around the world and a legend was born.

Johnty Rhodes:k:

Thanks, 2GooD2BeTruE.

Jonty made fielding an artform. Many future fielders will be compared with Jonty and rightly/unjustly be called inferior.

Jonty was also very quick. Hansie was the fiitest cricketer during his playing career (ran a number of Comrades ultramarathons 93+km's). Once when he and Jonty were at the crease, Jonty told Hansie when running past him that he must run faster! I always would have liked to see Jonty running with Imzimam!

Did you know Jonty suffered from epilepsy? Once in a test in Australia he was bowled against the head and had a seizure because of it.

haha ..that would be sheer torture for jonty , actually both.

Nope, I had no idea that he suffered from epilepsy. Is that reason why he retired a bit prematurely? or was it the hand injury he sustained during the world cup?

laxmipathy is he younger than irfan pathan???
