Pathwari Yar, Summer of Sam came out a couple of years ago. It is a story about the time a serial killer that was at loose in the 70’s, but that was only a small part, in fact a fairly insignificant part, of this movie. It was about Italian youth living in the Bronx and how the New York scene was so divided, loosened and so detached during that time. In fact, that time was the defining moment of what this City has become. I enjoyed it, and I think it is one of his better works. It also is a very New Yorkie stuff, if you know what I mean. I am sure it is available on Video in Rotterdam.

NY, are you refering to the John Luguizamo one? I may be wrong but wasn't that just last year...If it's another one, how does it compare, worth a watch?
You are right Elmo. I just thought it was older than that. Yes, it is with John Luguizamo (quite an impressive performance if you ask me). What did you think of it?

Thought so, NY. I think it was a stellar performance by 'zamo. He's come a long way since those cheesy roles in movies of the likes of Priscilla:Queen of the desert and Super Mario Bros.
Recently i saw "THE GREEN MILE" Dangggg its a tight movie.. I read the book before i actually saw it.. I could'nt believe that the movie was actually as good as the book, 2 thumbs to it. Seven years in Tibet.. i love American movies with the touch of East.. Anna and the king.. Good Movie as well. Sixth Sense just gave me the creeps , the fact that an indian brother actually wrote all the srcripts made it even better.. i like that brownie touch.. oh yeah Represent

"Anna and the king"? Was this released recently? (like in the 90's?). cool!
I really liked 'The King and I', but haven't come across a 90's version. Well, except a spoof called 'The King wants to fly', a self-proclaimed king of vietnamese grocery stores whose pot experience goes terribly wrong. don't ask.
