It is sold at all desi stores. Look for it in the jam and jellies / condensed milk section.

femme, it is like this thick cream like Nestle's. People use it in desserts all the time. When we were young, my mother would serve puck/nestle cream with sugar in it with parathas. Its yummy! Also good if you add some sugar and fruit cocktail (canned) in it and serve chilled.

1 hard boiled egg

mayo or butter - 2 tabsp

black pepper
salt to taste

home made.
toast the brown bread slices.
mix mashed hard boiled egg or puree it in a mixerr with butter and add salt and black pepper.
spread on the toasts. good for breakfast or supper tea.

Nutella with banana..YUM YUM. I'm actually liking arabic Laben too..it's sour- cream cheese -yogurt ad really yummy

seems like I am the only one who didn't like Puck. It was too salty for my taste.

I like Kirri, smooth peanut butter, mayo-vege spread/mayo chicken with black tea or any strong tea. In jams, I prefer dollops of black currant on crispy/crunchy toasts.
And when I am not in the mood for either Kirri or Peanut butter, I go for the quintessential rusks, more colloquially 'pappay' with heavy cream.

I didn;t like puck either minerva, way too salty as you mentnioned but I loved the little glass it came in, its so cute.

I am an ardent butter lover and though this is something I haven't had in years I used to love it once, cold hard sliced salty butter with raspberry jam.
toasted beard with salty butter is good too, nutella is yummy too, most jamsthat contain a bit of fruit preserves are good too. I don't like jellies.

Oh i havnt heard of puck-must b a north american thing.

But when i got married hubz introduced me to Marmite and i love it-u either love it or hate it-theres no middle ground. It contains B vitamins and i think its a real british thing!
Stopped eating Nutella years ago cos it contained too much fat-but i remember it tasting divine!
