It was Javed Hashmi who said when he decided to leave PMLN, it was women from Nawas family and wives of other top party leaders who wholeheartedly tried to persuade him to change his decision, when every other method failed to stop him from leaving the party. So I guess all these senior/founding members to some extent do end up becoming part of the general family, so for them what really starts off as party based political dispute ends up as emotional family drama because of the personal closeness they all share with each other.
