Either Imran doesn’t trust the CEC or its the CEC who has ruined the situation almost beyond repair now or its Fauzia K herself who has simply refused to respect CEC’s word on anything. Fauzia K has been calling for Imran’s direct involvement for quite some time so I think sending his sisters as mediators is the best he could do, his own personal involvement would’ve set a very bad precedent.
Imran’s sisters are still part of the political party. I think Imran criticizes family politics in terms of preferential treatment and power sharing not that family members cannot be part of the preliminary political process.
