lol, lovely thread! I agree completely with Niksik and our family is much the same. Mom and Dad are equally important, different roles with some overlap. My hubby is also very involved in their lives, cub scout den leader for both cubs, he's the one who takes them to swimming lessons, teaches them how to ride bikes, play ball etc. He can fix anything, build anything, he's an almost super-hero to the boyz. I'm the go-to person for comfort, for day-to-day structure, homework, mealtime. I can't imagine it any other way!
