Lets rely on geological surveys rather than Burqa’s dreams:

According to the Geological Survey of Pakistan (GSP) sources, reserves of 19 trillion cubic feet of gas and six trillion barrels of oil are estimated during the offshore exploration in Balochistan.

Tried and no luck so far. The guy could be the same person who runs Bloomfield schools in Pak.

Pakistanis do have tendency to gulp down conspiracy theories and this probably is one of them.

If you look at Iranian oil installations, there is none existing in the entire region of Iranian Balochistan. So it doesn't make sense that they would bind us in some strange treaty for not drilling in the our OWN country.

Are there any examples around the world where this "sloping oil" theory has been used to prevent neighboring countries from drilling?

I guess DATA or Spock you are negating your own postings. In one you say Pakistan has a treaty with Iran as NOT to drill for oil in Balochistan. Then you say Pakistan is planning to drill. That's the point. The treaty that you referred to, is more like a conspiracy theory. That's all. Just calm down and read your own posts please.

So whats the 'conspiracy' theory here Burqaposh/Anti-Obl? I know no one takes you seriously, but please try to be a little less bitter, and look at that geological survey rather than relying on your wild intuitions about pan-Islamism and oil flow.

Simple! Unless someone posts the text of that treaty, it will remain urban legend. Iran cannot stop Pakistan from drilling in Pak territory. That's all. Hope that will help clarify things.
