Thank God i am not a dumb person that i would just believe everything and anything i read off net. It also makes sense that if your fat level is fine and so is your mass (muscles) and water level then how can you be flabby?. You know what i mean.
Many thin people have fat level high n muscle level low cuz of which their body is flabby.

I know , I know , I a just trying to make a convo. I am bored at work it is my lunch time. :D
‘mass’ doesn’t stand for just ‘muscles’, there’s no way you can tell about body shape just by calculating bmi of a person and perhaps you missed reading these links on internet below. Please have a look.
PLEASE NOTE: The BMI indicator is just a guide and may provide misleading results. It does not take into account different body frames, muscle tone, etc. It’s important to speak with a physician about your individual weight if you are unsure.
For example, if you are 5’4, 145 pounds but you have a small frame/build, you may look out of shape even though the BMI caluclator says your weight is “desirable.” http://www.flat-stomach-exercises.com/ideal-body-weight.html
The best means of determining whether we are too fat or too thin?
Yes…
It is a simple and accurate way of assessing weight, which can be used as a basic indicator of overweight and underweight
Medical evidence shows that a BMI of below 18 or above 30 carries serious health risks
Critics simply don’t like the truth that BMI gives them about being too fat - or too thin
No…
It is a crude measuring device that does not take into account fitness and other individual facets
Warnings about an obesity epidemic among children may be alarmist and the obsession with BMI is merely fuelling the panic
Ok lets address the BMI issue. First of all BMI is not total garbage. It is an excellent first measure and is used when conducting nutrition assessment. Along with BMI there are other measures used such as waist circumference, body frame, the activity level of person is taken into account as well. BMI tells if the body mass (overall wt) is in the health range for ht after taking into account other factors. This does not mean the person has the recommended and safe percent body fat. To determine this one needs to get a boielectrical impedance analysis. There are different methods to do this. It measures percent body fat and total body water, which in turn is used to determine muscle mass. Maham is also correct in saying that if along with healthy BMI the percent body fat is within healthy/recommended range he/she would be a healthy person. Now I wouldn't go as far as saying they will be toned with no flab because to reach low percent body fat and high muscle mass one needs to take part in resistance and wt training.
Now the general population has the belief that BMI tells all when in fact it doesn't and in health care settings BMI is not used alone. So health care professionals realize the shortcoming of BMI and use other measures as well.
Yes, Sophie Dahl is a good example.. Also Nigella Lawson and Christina Hendricks.. That Tamil actress Namitha is much larger but has a v.pretty face as well..
In order to achieve a sound and sagacious mind, and healthy, agile, wholesome body, each person has to eat healthy natural wholesome foods and they also have to keep working, keep moving ... to gain the aerobic (heart) strength and muscle strength.
To answer your question, fat people can be cute, but in order to achieve physical and mental magnanimity, one has to be well proportioned/well balanced in his/her being and doing.
Thanks. So basically there are diff views on BMI. I discussed the same with my head trainer @ gym and she was of the believe that BMI is currently the most accurate tool to measure you body health. Hmm. I am gonna read up more on this in the morning :).
If people can be skinny and STILL look ugly then fat people can DEFINITELY be cute as well.
It depends on a few things:
Body proportions
Carrying yourself - some fat people would look great if they simply carried themselves with more confidence and grace
Dressing for your body - its not hard to dress ten pounds lighter by simply paying attention to your body and dressing accordingly
Maintenance - I know heavy girls who have great skin, great smiles, dress well, stay groomed and look great even though they're a good 50 pounds overweight.
So no, being skinny does not guarantee beauty. It can give your more dressing options, sure.

Happy BMI calculating everyone :)
You are rite. Btw when i said that with a good fat level and a good mass level it wud mean you are not flabby, i ofcourse didnt mean that you can get that status without resistance weight training. That wouldnt be possible ofcourse. And most definately other measures like waist circumference, body frame, the activity level of person help get a better idea of the overall body health.

i guess its possible but everyone looks better skinny than fat. if someone doesnt have a medical condition but is fat (i.e. 99% of fat people), it reflects laziness and lack of motivation in my book.
A lady that comes to the hospital for dialysis weighs 127 kgs, without a doubt she has one of the prettiest faces I've seen. She's not 'cute' she's actually pretty!
