Cutting down sleeping hours - been trying that. I don't know if its working for me.
I have been trying to be better about chugging water down, and my pain isn't as bad as it is on days when I forget to drink lots of water. I guess I just have to put a pitcher of water on my desk and aim to drink it all before nightfall. Been trying to drink 1-2 glasses of water in sehri. I don't know how anyone accomplishes 2 unless they're big in size. I get down 1 glass and feel like throwing up.
I'm feeling overwhelmed though, so I might try to skip a few rozas and make them up later if I find that I can't manage it. :-S
But I have a question for those who are on more regimented schedules. Like you need to be at class/work really early in the morning, so you can't stay up that late. And if you're to wake up for sehri, you probably need to be in bed maybe 1-2 hours before normal.
So breakdown:
You need the 8 hours of sleep.
You need to wake up for sehri, because there is no bloody way you're getting thru your day with no food in your stomach.
You need to drink water (I do especially, I've had kidney problems before).
You break fast at 7-ish, and you need to be in bed by like 10 for you to actually get up at sehri.
You need to get work done, but you find yourself totally lethargic in the few hours before iftari, and so your work is going slower.
I'm in massive stress. Like by 10 or 11 oclock, I found I basically had some food for iftari (basically my dinner - I don't do the samosas and then the full fledged meal). And I barely have time to drink water. And if I do chug down a whole bunch of water before getting into bed, I'm up in the middle of the night to pee.
And then I spend the rest of the day with lower back pain, because I dont have that water.
I think my biggest obstacle is how to incorporate enough water in my system in the few hours I CAN eat, and yet still get enough sleep. Which minimizes the time that I'm awake and can eat, which minimizes the amount of water I can drink.
Sorry for the long post. I just need help from those who might have some experience in managing a strict schedule with a particular physical condition.
I have sleep problem because ihave 2 children but its just 1 month.
And for water drink craneberry juice or use craneberry pills or Gatorade it will help you a lot never drink plain water empty stomach just drink gatorade

Aap ko HOSLA ki zaroorat hai please apna hosla rakhein 12mnths mein only 1 mnth hai INSHALLAH aap sabar karein gi to aur aap ko acha sawaab mile gaa.
If you feel fine playing football or not sleeping or working out while you fast, or u can fast while ur epregnant, great for you.
But you have no right to call someone "weak" or wimpy and assume they have no imaan. Bragging and making assumptions are wrong too.
Mein ne nahi kaha ke imaan kharab hia sirf yeh kaha hai ke roza rakheibn gi to allah aap ko aur himmat dein gay. mind na karein meri baat ka maqad kisi ko offend kerna nahi thaa.
honestly sum ppl always take things wrong way!..callin sum1 a wimp does’nt mean they hav no iman…y did u get that frm?ok yea guess braggin is wrong(sumtimes)
at end of day a “lot” of desi gals r unfit al they do is watch bollywoood films al day n only exersice they do is move da vacum cleaner forwars n backwards!!! can you blame em if they find roza hard??lol
^ I'm sorry if your'e too immature that all you can do is make stupid comments and not help but if you read properly, you would see that i was addressing two posts, not just yours alone.
Again, you dont know what anyone goes through, what someone's daily life is, what their health is..if they find roza hard that's their business and they will deal wiht it somehow.
Thats most likely the problem. You need to empty your bladder out just BEFORE going to bed. That way your sleep won't be interuppted to pee (assuming there are no problems with bladder control)
Keep drinking water regularly post iftari-->bedtime which should have you ready for a bathroom call before bed. Then sleep away.
ohh two posts, oppz i guess da roza affectin my ability 2 read!..yo 615 u need chill out…sum1 postin this thread to get views on how ppl get thru ther roza’s n i gave my opinion, ther is no rite or wrong on this thread…

I agree with Cheegum. 6-7 hours of sleep is enough for me. The key here's to have a light iftari, a proper dinner and into bed by 10-10:30 pm so you have 6- 6.5 hours of sleep till Sehri. A heavy sehri is what makes you feel sleepy again, so I just have fruits + light meal (no parathas or eggs for me) + fluids (Juice + atleast 3-4 glasses of water + occ. Yoghurt) at Sehri........ofcourse I do sleep again after sehri at w/e but by and large I don't during week days.
