I'm a fast talker and a fast listener as well. Nothing annoys me more than having to listen to someone talk really really slow, especially when they decide to add minial details to the conversation that aren't required.
I've been in a habit of finishing sentences for others, which I'm trying to give up on.
To answer the initial question, yes, I want others to talk fast as well.

So wait i was born/raised in NYC but i’m kinda slow… i think slow, it takes me a while to get stuff and understand things, but i do talk/type fast…

Fayz talk to this person in your normal pace, don't let him speed you up. If you're in too much of a hurry you may not express yourself in the way you normally do. You don't need to discuss this with the person. It's bound to be too awkward. He'll say, "I talk fast? I do, really, are you sure?" And you'll say, "Yeah... you do." Then there will be this long, awkward silence and he will be really self-conscious with you everytime you talk again.
The only problem I have with fast talkers is that when I try to get a word in, I can say, "And..uh" But I get cut off again because they're still going. Fast talkers are usually one-sided conversationalists. I think they like hearing their own voices.

i speak fast english but since its second language to me .. i tried to fix my xent first so i may void mouth helds/roll overs and now can speak darn fast. but when it comes down to urdu .. if ur urdu isnt perfect u prolly gona mess up while communicating with me .. my ABCD cousins dont understand shiz i say in urdu :p .. though i can speak/rap fast but still know etiquettes and if i figure one is having issues keeping up i just slow down !
and yes sometimes i do cut short my words/sentences and do cut off one talking by mistake , slow talking dont really enoy me .. i kinda enjoy it at times. most of the time i try to reply back in the same XACT TONE. its fun really !

I've a cousin in Pakistan he talks very fast sometime's i hardly know what he's
talkin about.

Yes. I have often been labelled as rude cz I do not give the other person time to finish his line as before he ends I understand his point and it gets too boring for me to wait until he’s finished to answer. I know it sounds rude so I have been trying to practise great patience to let the other complete. Cz when I cut them, they feel interrupted and dissatisfied. It frustrates me so much to wait until they finish that I can feel myself clinching my fists and jaw in frustration. But I HAVE to cz I have noticed that it does sound rude (me responding before they’re finished saying).
