pakistani fashion shows do an injustice to men, either they wear the same old boring crap, or its stuff that is way out there.
as far as western goes, why dont you do a mix..to present a broader view

Who's organizing the Fashion show? What's the cost? Where will the proceeds go?
The Embassy is very strict about holding events from any Pakistani organizations/charities (just spoke to them).
As for the fashion show itself, do something different. There's a lot of shows like what you just described. We put something similar on just a few months ago. Do what you described but change the presentation to emphasize different aspects of the fashions/designs. Get great lighting to make the show dramatic, use a good dj and a choreographer. There should definitely be male fashions as well.

I am not th one arranging the show…someone who works with National Geographics is doing all that…We have a segment that will be 20-30 outfits…She is deciding on between 20-30 models ..But we can choose ours…The segments that we r plannning r Eastern..(formals and Bridals, ) And Western…and then the Fushion of eastern and western. We do not currently have collection for male..And one time the organizer wanted us to have male models in their Dhoti..and wat not to escort the models…We passed.!!
Anyway we’ll have the details a bit later.I think they have invited 400 people..It will have like music from the regions.Maria is hopefully flying in for it too, depending on her schedule too.I’d love to hear some music suggestions…This is where AHO is the expert…
