^ have you read about the history of the region post 1979??? ISI/army did the bidding of the Americans in 1979, but it was the bigger Communism versus Capitalist war going on, Pakistan was just a pawn of that. Once communists were defeated Americans made it clear that now they will implement the new world order ( and now we have the war between the whole world and the islamic fundamentalists who used to be heroes only a few years back). The Americans have not had a pretty past, and their CIA and other defence organizations have been known to create chaos, blood shed in other countries to further their interests. Who knows what their designs are in Pakistan, Afghanistan and the broader middle east, but I dont see them succeeding in them. Due to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the Americans have bases in the region in the pretext of war on terror, and they are building up a big $1 billion embassy in Islamabad, and have their agents (CIA/blackwater) in most of the corps headquarters etc. As far as the role of India is concerned, who would deny about Indian involvement in terrorism in Pakistan? As far as Afghanistan is concerned, Pakistan has always had a shaky relationship with them, infact much before 1979 Khad (Afghan secret service) used to be involved in terrorism in Pakistan, and even now in Eastern Afghanistan the TTP have sanctuaries (Americans and Afghans are not doing anything about them).

He was born in 2001 so he only knows about 70s/80s from what he reads now.
