AP what are you talking about? Are you telling us that BB and Zardari are not corrupt? Yes I know NS is corrupt too. Sorry to burst your bubble but Benazir was corrupt to the core. She was no saint. Going against party line may be a crime in your book but Leghari did what he felt was right at the time. As President he had to act when he saw obvious wrong being committed by BB and Mr 10%. Dismissing an utterly corrupt and incompetent administration is most certainly not dishonesty
The problem is that you worship the Bhuttos. I only idolise Jinnah amongst Pakistani politicians and the fact is neither ZAB nor BB were good enough to polish Jinnah's shoes. The man had integrity; he was sincere and honest to the country.

The question is not who was honest and who wasn't? Laghari was born as politician from PPP stage. He was not an angel either, there were few corruption scandals also associated with him. He was so "namak haram" that he cut the same hands which fed him. After doing that he had ruined his political career and became unknown.

He saved the country from PPP in 1996 when the country was about to go bankrupt and sold out to IMF. I wish there was someone like him as a president right now.

I guess the only "namak-halal" people left in PPP are Rehman Malik, Babar Aawan these days, the definition of 'namak-halal/haram' in PPP really takes it to different level, something seen in mafias where the loyalty is with person and not discipline/rules.

These are not PPP personals.
Nimak Haram is really not good term in politics.
There are two big example like this.
Laghari and Jam Sadiq Ali
They both did bad for only few days of power.

Both thrived on the shoulders of PPP. Both cut the hands which brought them to the seat of power and fame. They were not only namak haram but also begharat. Both have died, may God forgive their sins (which otherwis were unforgiveable in this world).

Sure, if they work for a party for long and they get to some level it only because of party and not their own work, I guess this is how PPP works: workers are supposed to work all their lives will remain workers, those who somehow get leadership they should always support PPP no matter how bad/wrong they do :k:

PPP is for Bhuttos. All others should stay workers. Otherwise they are NH.
What are the great ‘achievements’ by Benazir by the way?
Her own mother did not stay with the party. Her own brother turned against her. Her own niece does not have anything good to say about her and accuses her being morally resonsible for her brother’s death.
There must be something there why so many big-wiz left or went against the party.

He did what a sane man should do with the shameless corruption all over the govt. I think anyone with little bit sense will do the same thing. The worst governess of the history of mankind was displayed from 88-99. And the game is on again.
Whether he was elected on PPP’s vote or not, he was a Pakistani and Muslim. A man must do what his principals say, not what his corrupt leader say.
No matter what modern elite say, the role models for the nation will not change. The recent examples are first Prime Minister of Pakistan.

He remained in party till 96 than he made a Millat Party which finished in his life.
