lol i dont understand why people are making a joke out of this. personally i'ld want to have my wedding done in a farm house. but since i dont own one, i think the next best option is to find a big, LEVELed ground; the rest ,leave it to ur planner/decorater.

Thank you! So do I! I don't see the funny side marrying in a farmhouse anyway. I dont mean a barn with cows and goats everywhere but levelled land off some big farmhouse.

My father in law has got some levelled land near islamabad but I dont know how vast it is. Now my fiance is saying that they want to do the Walima on this particular piece of land!

I might as well just do the Baraat in Serena :( Lets see.

So like someone mentioned in this thread, get a hold of planners that u can potentially hire and talk to them about possible outdoor locations. How many people are you expecting btw? IMO, weddings outdoor are MUCH more elegant than hotels etc but only if u can get a hold of someone who can do good decor, otherwise its best to do indoors where minimum work is needed.

My wedding planner will be based in Lahore so I don't know how much they can help. Iam expecting about 300-400 ppl to the wedding. There are only so many people that you can fit in with a hotel. Also, lots of our relatives have kids and I would prefer for them to be running around in as much 'khoola' space as poss.

well talk to others. even if u dont want to hire them, just to ask about locations. and i would still think that those from lahore SHOULD know about locations in isb if they plan weddings there. Who are u hiring btw?
