u put ur main players up on the top positions of PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C; then the extras go on the bench, when the matches start u get points depending on how good ur top players do, u don't get points from your bench, if one of ur good players is injured or something u can change him to the bench and put someone else up in his place
When the match starts that ur player is taking part in then u can't move his place on ur roster, u have to do it beforehand.
i don't understand what the Util spots are for? do we get points from these players? someone please explain

That's not the point. Do you even know how many rebounds, assists and blocks Kobe had?
You have a good set of PG and SG with Ray Allen, Gary Payton. I don't have that kind of luxury. That is why I was asking you to trade Kobe for Paul Pierce who btw plays side by side with Payton. Pierce and Payton will be a killer combo for you.

you get all of the stats that are used in your fantasy league - if you need more rebouding and blocking, put a center in the utility slot.
if you need more 3pters, put a 3pt shooting guard - basically, its just more space to get production.
