talha, still cant say much when you've like 5 spots on ur team empty. :)When you're on the main page, click on Matchup between u and Patsrule and ull know what im talking abt.
Make sure that you have a full team and each position has an active player. For example, you have like 4 kickers but all of them r on the bench. So if you play PatsRule with this same setup ur gonna get 0 points from ur kicker, as all of them r on the bench.
yeah i know that lussi but i have question about DL and DB - PatsRule hasn't set them up but i have just set up my DB - my quesiton is can i drop one of three kickers and add DB to my 1st week roster? and if PatsRule doesn't add DL and DB up to his roster - i will get the points right?

well if patsrule doesnt have any active DL or DB on gameday, patsrule will not gain any points they may earn. for eg, if pats rule has sapp as DL but he's on bench and he gets 10 pts. Those 10pts would NOT show up under his total points. So yeh i guess indirectly u do get the points.
and the thing is that ud want ur backup to be on the bench. like u got indy as ur D and u nothing on the bench. so whats gonna happen when indy has a bye week? ur not gonna get any points from indy D that week. so to counter that, ud normally have ur second string d team on bench and u can get rid of it after ur primairy D team has had its bye week. now ofcourse u can add a D team during that bye week, but u might not get the D team that u'd desire, so u can sort of reserve the D by benching it now.
But even that staregy of adding ur bench team during the week ur D team is on bye can be worthwhile, depening upon how much flexibility u have with the rest of ur roster. Like when i played fantasy football last yr, I had the ****tiest RBs so I had like 4 RBs on bench and that left me no room to have any backups for any other position.
aight - so what you are saying is that you should at least have one person on bench available for each position - i got two WRs on the bench at the moment - if i removed at least them from the roster - it will make the room for Defence but the problem is that i might not get the extra player for each position as it doesn't match the roster's capacity - in that case what should i do?

well u dont have to. it's just that it's good to have a solid replacement player incase ur main player gets injured or has a bye week. I mean u can always add a player to ur roster when the time comes(though even that has a deadline, i think late nov).
so for example, u had indy as ur lone D team. I noticed u added Minn. as ur bench D team. Now u didnt have to, u could have waited until the week came when Indy had a bye week and then added Minn, but then u run the risk that someone might have already picked up Minn by that time.

if im understanding u correctly, ur saying that uve run of roster capacity. Well thats another challenege of FF, u gotta balance ur team...u cant have like 3 replacements for every player.

well guys Mike Vick was supposed to be my star player, but looks like his broken leg (and resultant shytty play) has put a serious dent in my chances of winning before the pool. I apolagize for the bad pick before the season even starts.
elahi yaar don't be disheartened. keep vick as ur backup and hope that he makes a comeback later in the season.

yep - that was the reason i picked up Minny defence - and i put the D of Colts on bench - to be honest Vikings will have a great season with D and O - and i can definitely see them winning the north division - passing by Packers.
