Fantasy Football

When you’ve got a guy like Manning as your QB, benching him is not the first or even second thing you consider. I should have but did not even consider it to tell you the truth. As I said, my bad. Had I even considered it and realized that the Raiders were up against Tenn and looked at Collins’ last several games, then I would have made the move … in hindsight … probably. Because I didn’t study the matchups close enough, I lost. Fitting penalty if you ask me.

Still…who’d have figured that the Pittsburg Defense would give up 30 points to the GIANTS who haven’t been able to score during non-contact practice sessions. Give me 1 more TD pass from Peyton and a Steeleresque Defensive game and I’m number 1 baby.

lol - yeah i was wondering what has gone wrong with Steel defense? they couldn't even sack Eli once? sheesh!

anyhow - you can still have 3rd place... not bad..

Hey Sheeraz

:rotfl:

lol khush ho jaa'o bachay...i just didnt even log onto fantasy football after losing in the first round...i am just imagining holding next years trophy :D

yeh u and about six more people :hehe:

i haven’t seen him around in this thread ever since his first round loss…wonder where he went..

so who is the champ?

well it will most probably be Talha

damn i kicked high tech’s ass
oh well i wasnt the only one :hehe:

All Hail the Emperors. It should have been the Stooges who made a huge mistake at starting QB last weekend. Oh well... 3rd place isn't bad. Like everyone else, at least I beat Sock'Em. 8th place for High-Tech and 3 playoff losses in a row. Priceless. :)

Re: Fantasy Football

Re: Fantasy Football

see u all next season

Re: Fantasy Football

Good pool people,,, I think its fair to say if Peerless Price decided to play and Steve Smith did'nt break his leg, I would have won this thing............ Till next season then if I'm still on this site then

Re: Fantasy Football

Congrats Emperors. Good for you I wasn't there to make any changes for the final. Anywho, you sure deserve the crown.

2004 Gupshup Fantasy Football Champion

Thank you thank you - in a moment i will tell how i managed to win but before that - i m pleased to inform y’all that i won other two leagues as well.

High-Tech - i never thought you would end up like this - i mean you had 1st seed all along and at the end of the season you are dead last.

myvoice - yeah sure you made the mistake. :hehe:

elahi - stop making excuses. :nono3:

Sheraz CT - where you hiding? 3 times i have beaten you - don’t ever talk about you beating me. :stuck_out_tongue:

Chandbeti - what’s up with you weren’t available to make changes? neither was i

lussi bhai - where’s my title? where’s my title? don’t you just love the title of mine? :wink:

The Emperors road to Championship

Carolina Panthers Defense

had it not been for Panthers D - i would have lost it in the first round and the remaining games too - total of 55 points Panthers D gave me during the course of playoffs - no one even came close - it sucks not to see them getting in the playoff picture even though they defeated Eagles last year. :(

[thumb=H]muhsin18751_3599377.JPG[/thumb]

Muhsin Muhammad - Carolina Panthers Wide Receiver

i never had good share of WRs in this fantasy pool - but i sure had unsung heros - how about Muhammad clicking at the right time? he led the NFL in TDs this season with 16.

[thumb=H]53_Driver-Vikings18751_4222557.JPG[/thumb]

Donald Driver - Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver

Driver came in my fantasy pool with 145th pick - and man was he the best sleeper for me aye? i remember the game between Packers and Colts where he dropped like 2-3 TD passes - that was his tough game - after that Javon Walker disappeared and Driver was Brett Farve's favorite target all along...

[thumb=H]jason_elam00218751_7436315.JPG[/thumb]

Jason Elam - Denver Broncos Kicker

if i remember correctly - i lost week 9 because of his blocked kick against Raiders - however - Elam have had good share of points every week - and he ended up giving me the edge one way or other - with 139 points he finished my fantasy pool - not bad if you get 139 points from your kicker.

[thumb=H]dillon18751_6965015.JPG[/thumb]

Corey Dillon - New England Patriots Running Back

Corey Dillon had his best season(345 rushes, 1635 yards, 12 TD), an avg. of 109.0 yards per game - he changed the whole dimension of the Patriots game - and in most clutch moments he came through for his team and for the Fantasy owners...

[thumb=H]emmitt_smith_cardinals18751_2931285.JPG[/thumb]

Emmitt Smith - Arizona Cardinals Running Back

when i lost Stephen Davis in the first week - i felt miserable - and didn't know who will produce? i had Smith through back door who proved to be the best gamble in the fantasy pool - most of us thought he was done...nah nah... with 9 TDs - he rushed 267 times for 937 yards, an avg. of 62.5 yards per game - not bad at all considering he is at the end of his career.

[thumb=H]132e283mcnabb130p18751_2706935.JPG[/thumb]

Donovan 'Superman' McNabb - Philadelphia Eagles Quaterback

..and finally - the man i respect - the man who knows how to lead his team - led me throughout this fantasy run - Donovan could have his best season had T.O. not be sidelined line - i have to give a notch to Terrel Owens who shared 14 of 31 McNabb's TDs. - Donvonan finished season with 300/469 completion(that's 75 %) and 3875 yards.

...and that's the props - i can't wait to play for another season with you all - hopefully we will have more people join the fantasy pool - till then 'I am the Champion of Gupshup Football Fantasy'

Respect is Earned
