I allow family to access my facebook and they see that I've worn dresses recently and that I go out with a mixed crowd. No one has passed judgemental comments yet and they all know that if they do I simply will never speak to them again. I've already cut it off with a Khala of mine.

I have one facebook and all my friends and family have full access to it, including cousins. My pictures however are limited to all family/female friends.

I have my whole khandaan on facebook including my 6 siblings n all cousins and ev 1 has access to all of it. Never thought abt hiding anything frm them infact y shud I b hiding? :konfused:

my family has full access of my facebook profile. It's mainly for my family that I have created a fb account ......all of us cousins lives in different parts of the world and fb is one good platform for us to be in contact.

I have just one person on my block list and he deserves to be blocked !

The above was the scenario before facebook was blocked in Pakistan :)

In a nutshell-my family are a bunch of loonies who make a mountain out of a mole-do I reallllllllly want to give them an excuse to start bashing me even more? Nope, so for this reason only my half brother has access to my facebook-and he's limited to what he can see.

^ Lol, mine are like that too. I just use my parents' facebook to keep in touch with relatives rather than my own..

As for facebook, only have 3 close cousins, a few good friends thats it really

Facebook with too many friends is for people who you cant be bothered to keep in contact with using phone or text or meet

Or its for people who have their close ones on and who see them nearly everyday anyway so facebook in that case is useless for them (like me)

most people have full access however those that have put me on limited are also limited on mine and eventaully get deleted why add me and then limit me weird

I don't understand this whole "I have two Facebooks" idea. I fugure, jo karna hai, woh khullam khulla karo. And if you can't then you've got to question one of two things:

1) Is the information on your account not appropriate for mass consumption?

2) Is the person who is sending you a friend request, not someone you want to share the information with or be friends with.

Address either of these issues and then you won't need two Facebook accounts. I know a lot of people who say - the info on FB is in good fun - but would you be comfortable revisiting the good fun years from now when you're in a relationship or showing it to your parents or kids?

i have two accounts one that is family plus like 4 of my close friends and other that is everyone else. Surprisingly i feel more comfortable writing my true thoughts and feelings as status messages on my family account then the other one, because of our family friends..

and in my family funny thing is mostly its cousins some of which i have seen for 10+ years and we get along really well, we will post like stupid stuff on each others walls without worrying about what others will think because with us.. we know when the other person is joking... whereas family friends read into that stuff toooooooo much. In fact i went for a period of just deactivating that account , which surprisingly was like the best decision. Now i have that account up but i don't even update it nor do i have a wall.
as for the family one.. that's the one is use nowsdays... also changed my name when i registered for the family account to a nickname in the family, which makes it harder for others to search me!
