He Was basically a decent person and weak in decision making, perhaps due to dirt politics played by Pakistani politician. Perhaps he was afraid to make any bold decision to save his life. Interference by military top brass is also not ruled out in his resignation.

For me he lost all respect with his silly post elections conference:

“Errr Pakistan doesn’t usually hold elections so live with whatever happened. Bad management and rigging is all acceptable and normal under the circumstances we’re in”.

Goodbye Mr Fakhru. I doubt you’ll be missed.
