Ziggy i really love that outfit u posted. The fabric is made of velvet right? which is i suppose warm for in the winters!!!

how much does faiza samee quote for such a party/semi formal dress?

It is velvet and the cut was adjusted for my mother so she could wear it at my brother's nikkah. She is expensive however...this outfit cost 65,000rps, but I suppose the likes of Karma and HSY charge in the same price range for heavt formal wear anyway.

I'll see if I can get you a better picture tonight of the original.

I will say though that I have not seen the type of fabrics she has at her workshop anywhere else. apparently she has contacts all over, including India where she sources them from.

way too pricey in my opinion. Not my sort of style either, though the colours r unique and pretty.

liked the ones in that fashion show (someone put the link up a while ago).....especially that bridal piece--the one that took forever making and was displayed at the V&A....

think Faiza's style is very ancient/antique..and only a few ppl would appreciate it......I know SGC loves karma (think u have a feminine/sleek style)....personally--I get annoyed of karma's diamontes/sparkly look.......but i love her sari's lolzzz.....

but yeah to me Faiza's clothes r extremes....some r downright ugly and others r pretty---guess one needs to see them in real life to know............

I would really love to see wht her bridal pieces look like??????
