Faith Healing Fitnah - Fair or Faux?

Re: Faith Healing Fitnah - Fair or Faux?

psyah, there is/can be no comparison between the word of God used in ruqyah/dumm & the human words used in placebo treatment. And that is also done along side the normal medical treatment using the drugs for specific diseases. A simple way to understand this as I see it. I have seen how recitation of the Quran ‘burns’ the shayateens & how much pain they feel. I dont think any humans, even nonmulims, would be in such pain if they recite the quran or Allah’s names. So there are alot of things which the science cannot explain. Would like to provide some links of those unexplainable effects of the word of Quran on humans affected by the shayateens but right now short of time. So, if Quranic recitation and Allah’s names carry such power, why will it not cure other diseases (Alongside the proper medical treatment)? Every disease is different and every case is different. For some, only the ruqyah/dumm cure is good, for others a combination of ruqyah and medical treatment and for some, nothing works. Neither the medical nor Islamic cure. Because in the end, any physical or other diseases/conditions are trials from God which either make us a better person or raise us in rank.

And yes, a strong faith in God is very important & protects us from alot of damage & harm.

Also, I have heard that in Islam, in certain difficult cases, it is permissible to seek cure from the remedy of unislamic faiths. Maybe someone with better knowledge on this can confirm.
