I always thought there were two types of bleaches: 1 for the skin and 1 for facial hair. Is there really any difference or are they both the same? What are the long-term negative effects of both? I'm looking it up online and can't find anything. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.
Anyway, regardless, bleaching your face to be fair is just wrong. It's like Suroor said .... there is a complex in place and we just have to learn to accept ourselves as we are. It isn't just desis who are like this. My cousin is currently in Thailand and he's always telling me how none of the girls like going out in the sun for fear of getting dark and becoming less attractive.
