Kaleem bhai, I think you're getting upset for no reason. Of course you have the right to be against Moore's movie but it is not meant to be a bi-partisan, fair effort. He makes no claims to be fair and shows facts in a biased and one-sided way. Much like Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage and Sean Hannity do not make much of an effort to include the Democratic point-of-view and twist facts, Moore has taken his opinions to the silver screen. We cannot slam him for showing us his version of the facts, he never claims to be "fair and balanced." Instead, it is a "buyer beware" dilemma where we consumers of the media must educate ourselves. Sadly, few of us do (though everyone on this board certainly does!).

it's just a documentary.. but Moore has the knack to make them interesting.. no wonder it broke all records.. any movie.. however partisan, non factual ec etc.. still has to be entertaining to have grossed that much at the BO.

Exactly, he appeared on a late night show the same day his movie was released, and he made that very clear. He even said he could be wrong, but hes just out there saying what he thinks is the truth.
And quite frankly, the connections he showed were illustrated pretty well. Its not very often you get people applauding at the end of the show.
Did you guys saw "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" yesterday. He showed a clip where Moore is interviewed by a CBS lady. That guy ambushed her pretty badly right on her own show and it was hilarious. I am paraphrasing from my memory now.
CBS lady: ".. some are claiming that the movie (Faren 9/11) is propaganda"

judging from repsonses in this thread, I believe all the minds are already made up. Do you guys think that Moore has suddenly found something that is going to shake up the up coming election. Is tha What Kerry is counting on.

nope - i didn't compare Micheal with X and King - what i meant to say that the govt. tries to block Moore every time he comes up as controversial.
The Bin Ladens were not flown out TWO YEARS later. They were flown out when our planes were still grounded in mid-September - Did you watch the documentary? Did you see the documents? He showed the list - Many of them were flown out on Sept 13th.
I watched it tonight. First of all, It is no smoking gun against Bush. It is just view from another perspective. Moore has quite a few thigns going for him in the movie and i m sure american audience will be really mad when they see this movie. Pro-bush people will be angry of how he presented bush and anti-bush people will feel cheated. And he ends it on a pretty moving note showing a clipping from Bush 'Shame on you if you fool me once ..bla bla. And he ends it saying' yeah , we have been fooled once' (Dont remember the exact dialogue).
It is a must watch for americans and its not a surprise how in-demand this movie is.
If the movie does change the elections and Kerry wins, Kerry will have to be careful in what he does, because behind his back will be Michael Moore to get him.

They loved it! Virtually everywhere on the first day movie-goers applauded at the end! There were huge lines in theaters all over the US!
farenhiet is by far the best movie.. EVERY BUSH HATER MUST WATCH IT and EVERY BUSH LOVER MUST WATCH IT AGAIN because they will never Vote bush again.... one of Mooors caption of bush ( about iraq war ) is saying
It's a really good movie. They are showing it only in one threater here out of 4+ theaters that are close to us. I've been meaning to watch it since this passed weekend but always forget and when I realize, it's too late. Anyway, I'll try my best to catch tomorrows show.
My manager at work was ticked off because it's against bush and he's for bush. But I told him I am gonna go see it. I better watch it soon before they ban it.
I wanna watch it.. but no time to spend 3 hours to go to the theatre
i'll just watch it when it comes out on dvd :p.... which I'm sure will happen right before the elections :D
