^that's very inaccurate information regarding laser. burn marks don't just peel off and hyperpigmentation is also a side-effect for darker skin tones.
wait til you have finished treatments and been hair-free for a whole year. then you are in a position to say whether it has truly worked or not.
a note for anyone else with a hormone imbalance. any good clinic for either laser or electrolysis will advise you get your hormones under control first (medication or whatever your doctor advises) before commencing treatment.
