I need to move to XXXX. First for obvious reasons, then we got grannie potatoes and then video conferencing, on cell phones, which has been in existence for 3 to 4 yrs. I’m sure it must like one of those Star Trek kinda colonies!

Nobody denied that the technology existed. But other than these concept videos did you actually see anyone using it in real life? I had a buddy with an N95 and for the 2 yrs he had the phone he kept looking for someone to call.
Now only if he lived in XXXX we could’ve gotten some real good potato conversations going!

I was only touching on the video calling bit as you or your friend have no experience of video call on a cell phone.

PS: Showing me a couple of video’s on YT doesn’t change reality. Also an FYI, I do hear titbits about technology every now and then myself.
