look now i said what my views are, and because i am not thinking in a box, i also respect other peoples views.... if you read my post properly you'd have seen the word **'mostly' in bold, **why'd i do that? because i believe that most people there are not really what they would be/are in real life...however as the word most implies that am talking about the majority, it also means that i do accept the fact that there are some few people over there who are genuine..personally i think it wouldnt be prudent to trust each and evry person on a social networking site to be true, be it fb, hi5, or anyother. and since i am giving my opinions about the site, it is only sensible to think that i 'have' been on it, maybe i dont knw each and evry feature..as far as privacy is concerned, then am really not talking aout the privacy you get as far as 'users' are concerned, i am talking about it in its entirety, unless if you havent researched, am assuming you know what people have been debating about fb's privacy, how information is given to third parties by using those apps, how the users info is available to some XXperson from some cXX or fXX security or whatever it is. That is the privacy amtalking about:D
well, first of all let m e cover the privacy thing. your arguments about applications and some random person looking at your fb profile is totally useless becuase you can't blame fb for it when you have not applied any security/privacy on your account. you can restrict applications to access your data. The only thing that you have to read before clicking okay.
now back to the genuine and fake thingy. I TOTALY believe in it that facebook/GS has nothing to do with the fake or reality. the internet, in total, is fake.
now come to another point of view of facebook. we are arguing about facebook and its reality stuff .. it seems baseless to us because the culture we come from is tightly coupled. we have strong bonds with families, ffriends, relatives. consider facebook from an american point of view who (mostly) don't have a social life and facebook and such networks are there saviour, saving them from being crazy and ending up alone. but to wour culture, facebook does not make any sense. unless you are not living away from your family (like me :()
have they hired u for the marketing of facebook??
