Facebook is something that keeps you in touch with your family & friends. Now it's up to the individual person who they want to ad and who they want to show their pictures to. Calling Facebook haraam is an extreme view. I'm sure if people are posting bad pictures and videos and adding every guy they've ever seen.....then yeah, they're not doing the right thing. But that doesn't make facebook haraam. That's on the head of the individual.
It depends on your perception, I guess.
