Why do people feel the need to respond to idiots that insult them?
Isn't that what that person is looking for anyway? Why satisfy them?
It's very difficult to ignore such idiots. I've come across a couple of people in my life who continuously make idiotic or blunt comments and I've always ignored them. I regret not saying something to them. Some people deserve a dose of their medicine.
OP... I don't blame your friend for getting mad at you. You commented on pics that others can see and it does make the other self-conscious.
The facebook message... I would have ignored it or written a response defending the points brought up while refraining from insulting the other person (their religion, race, etc.)... that way you still get some peace of mind that you wrote a good response and didn't lose your dignity. Then block the guy.
People's natural reaction is to tell people to eff' off once trolls get underneath their skin. The reaction or need is more prominent on line because of the protection we have against others finding out who we are.
The ability to get under people's skin is easy. The ability to refrain from getting involved in a flame war isn't.
Agreed.
However trolls want just that....to get under your skin.......and wouldn't it be lovely to simply not give them what they want?
How perfect would that be?
What would the troll do with all that animosity then?
I agree…sometimes ppl comments makes you furious at them…bhui tareef karni hai to theek tarhan karo warna na karo…like…“Oh u look so different in the pic…nice” i mean…come on…urghh…it means im looking nice because im not looking like myself or “oh u lost a lot of weight for ur wedding…looking pretty…” thanku so much…i dint know that
