If your friend is only putting the milk only on her face…then that doesn’t explain why her whole body is fair too. But yes, the concept works b/c of the lactic acid. Applying milk will eventually have a bit of a lightening effect too. But anyone doing a lactic acid peel will get the results faster.

What I meant by that is she doesn’t have a contrast between her face colour and her body colour. Her body is fair because she doesn’t expose it, and most women have the same problem. Our faces are more exposed than other parts of our bodies.
