There is a new wikileak cable circulating these days where Farooq Sattar said that he tried to convince Altaf to postpone the rally but he refused to budge.
This is why I say that MQM will benefit greatly if Altaf goes away.

Initially, the MQM was reluctant to hold a rally in Karachi on May 12. The then ISI DG Gen Ashfaq Kayani also had the same opinion that the MQM should not come out on the streets when Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry would visit Karachi. It was Huda who played an important role in convincing the MQM not to cancel its rally. He assured the MQM leadership that there will be no riots on that day though he was proved wrong. what I guess that the Local MQM leadership just was so sure to not create any chaos but the other side like Mushraff or CJ allies were thinking differently.

There are no terrorist anywhere in Sindh generally. Only very small numbers if Taliban, who occasionally attack. You are in habit to use big words. There were low grade bazari type londay which were used by MQM. English main bat naheen ho sakti ,

Now the situation is little better. A washing has been started. Because the old fashion of 'Zulm ki Dastan' is not in use so you can not know all.
But it can be persumed that all parties have been agreed for some washing and cleaning.
Our problem is now only one, How to get rid of these all goons.
Mutheda without Altaf and his Gand,
PPP without Zardari and his dirt,
Mulim League without Sharifs and Chauhdariees.
You can not say this about Akila khan.
He is alone there with all dirt inside him. No party.

No need to trust him in future but I am still 100% sure that what he spoke in those two are three days of his madness ,that was 100% true. I knew that he didn't pointed out the corruption and looting of PPP leaders but it was not asked. There could be some thing wrong in his knoweldge but truth is always according to best of knowledge and belief.

No he is not. He told openly that his family has intermarriages with urdu speaking. On the contrary your posts indicate that you are the biggest racisit on this forum.

No. It is important part of story. Just putting blame on MQM alone is unjust. That's the point. taali ek haath se nahin bajti. It was a two-way clash.
back in 2007 there was no party such openly armed as MQM, so killing was largely part of MQM, you are right, there were "two parties", one died the other is still roaming around.
Capt. who denying that fact? as we all know that MQM have all kind of EXPERTS in his party right! but they are not such stupid to MIScalculate the aftermath of this kind of tregedy. the all LOSER with CJ HIMAQAT were ready that day to start all this.
They had no choice, MQM wanted to go to different parts of the country whereas Musharraf needed to show his power, MQM miscalculated and fell right behind Musharraf, they ARE that stupid.

There is nothing wrong in putting incidents that occurred 4 years ago specially if it has not been fully investigated and not put to an end from judicial point of view.

Isn't there a Sindh HC case regarding this? I don't see anything regarding Dec. 27 as people were killed and property brazenly destroyed?

Dec.27th was a spontaneous riot triggered by one of the biggest convulsions in Pakistan's history. It had never happened before, and has not happened since. It was not under the control of any leader, or party.
May.12 was an organised and pre-planned massacre by Mush and the MQM. One of their many massacres even before that date, and since then.
