Re: Eyelashes
I was going to get lash implants but I chickened out at the last minute after reading online how a girl who had gone thru it said that she was having that as well as a nosejob and the lash implants were like a million times more painful and she was crying throughout the procedure (u have to stay awake to have it done as well, I would have been much more at ease with the idea if they could put me to sleep)..
Less drastic ways to fuller lashes are products like Revitalash or Latisse/Lumigan (both proven to work but can take up to 4 months to see dramatic effects) and the lash extensions that u mentioned. I’ve tried those but for me it was a waste of money, was quite expensive + nowhere near as long lasting as I’d been led to believe as well as feeling quite artificial and heavy on my eyelids (rather than curling up and making me look wide-eyed mine drooped down).. Maybe a different brand or thickness may have worked better but as I said they didn’t last long and I didn’t feel like throwing another £150-odd down the drain..
There are some brilliant mascaras out nowadays and as well as the standard favourites there are ‘fibre’ mascaras that add little bits onto the ends of ur own lashes making them look longer.. have never tried them tho so not sure how good they look..
