Eye Puffiness

yaar, purchase karne say pehle Ebay ya similar site par check to karleti…I bought this cream for $17 on ebay including S&H…I’m sure I’d have gotten a better deal if I looked hard enough on the net…

i think im in denial... i actually think its working but maybe its just me...

Sadzzz, I was going to comment on how it is working but thought it may be too soon. I also think it is working but perhaps it's just in my head and I'm seeing what I want to see :D.

^Great, it's working for you guys!

I just recieved mine in mail today so I'm gonna start using it tonight and see how it goes with me. :)

Have you guys ever tried the following:

Dip cotton pads in cold milk. Lie down with your feet raised higher than your head, then place the wet pads on your closed eyes. Stay that way for 10 minutes.

^

This really relaxes my eyes. I also like washing my face with cold milk whenever I getta chance and it really gives my skin a nice smooth look and makes it very soft. :)

^ CA will it make me go fair and lovely? the raising the feet above my head bit sounds like consuming energy.. its friday, i cant even think about exercise (been to gym 4 times this week :D )

Mehnaz.. yeah i thought it was in my head.. but glad ur noticing it too! hey CA... let us know how it goes for u.. this is soo exciting!

Hey, I didn't know you can return a cream after using it. Anyway, I understand your concern. Me, I trust ebay's rating system and there are many professional sellers, meaning they're selling for a long time and they never have recieved a negative feedback from their customers so I wouldn't doubt about their items. :)

CA, course you can return a cream after using it, obviously not if you've used most of the pot etc but depending on where you bought it from, you should be able to return it.

Try cooled Tea Bags...put them over your eyes for about 5/10 mins - every morning...sometimes it works...

Hey there

I've been having samel problem for quiet many years. It was due to lack of enough sleep, bad eating habits, not drinking enough water etc.
So lately I have had 3 months off from everything, sleeping & eating all I could..and still I can some darkness under my eyes, however it has certainly reduced remarkably during the past months....

so I can recommend long vacations (if thats possible), get ur sleep, eat n drink properly...

and the best eye cream I've used is: Lancome's Hydra Zen Yeux, Destressing Eye Treatment..it just makes wonders!

So, any luck with reducing puffiness using Clinique's All About Eyes? At first, I thought it was making a difference but it is very minor. I guess I have to give it more time. I have also been using tea bags on my eyes. That really feels wonderful .... very relaxing.

How about the rest of you who started using All About Eyes?

hey M... i thought it was making a big difference in the beginning too.. now im like hmmm but im using it neways just for reassurance and cus i paid like aaaagh $54!!

so how do u use these teabags?

sadzz, you mean you didn’t return it? :smack: Yaar, same here. This cream isn’t really making a huge difference but I’m using it anyway. Hmm, though I think the dark circles around my eyes don’t look as severe as they did before.

^ yeah same here CA... i mean they look better but i dont think its that significant as it was in the beginning

I usually get really puffy and dark eyes if I don't get enough sleep. I tried All about Eyes. I found it a bit too expensive for something that didn't make too much of a difference. Now I just use chilled chamomile tea bags or pads soaked in a mixture of milk and rose water. The difference is noticeable right away.

Lancome is the best when it comes to free gifts. Just last week I made an $80 purchase and recieved a large tote bag, two lipsticks, mascara, a small eyeshadow kit, a bottle of eye makeup remover, miniature nailpolish, and interestingly enough a large loaf of French bread.

I don't know if I'm using the tea bags properly. :D

After making chai, I take the tea bags out of the kettle and just let them cool a bit. I press them a little bit so that they aren't so soggy when I put them on. When they have cooled down, I put them on my eyes for 20 minutes. Feels fabulous. Although I don't think I'm supposed to do this, I press the teabags gently into my eyes and around the underneath dark circle area of my eyes.

Don't boil it. The best thing to do is to put tea bags in a glass of warm water and let it sit for a while(at room temp or in the fridge). When the tea bags are saturated with water (when the water starts to look the color of tea) take them out and press out the excess water and put them on your eyes. As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with pressing the bag, I do that as well.

im gonna try that tonight! :)

not to discourage u guys or anything but i was reading this book, beauty bible n its a really good book..it said all eye creams are is just a diff kind of moisturizer n the darkening is something to do with skin pigment which none of these creams can help....i plan on buying the book, so when i do i will let u guys know exactly wat it said..
