Join the club- why do ammis do that any ways? BTW you have exquisitely shaped eyebrows. they are perfect for your eye shape.

i FINALLY learned how to do a smoky eye!!!!!

u need
one shimmery nude eyeshadow shade (beigy, stone, pale gold or taupe...whatever)
one dark shade (deep blue, black, plum, brown)....whatever suits your eyes best. i got indigo from a prescriptives counter....
eye shadow brush, blending brush, angled brush...
mascara

so after cleansing, moisturizing, concealer....use the shadow brush to apply the shimmery shade all over the eye from lash line to brow bone
then use that brush to apply the dark shade from lash line to crease of lid.
use angled brush to apply the dark shade right under lower lash line not going in the whole way to the inner corner...stop shading before halfway...
dip blending brush into shimmer shade and apply on top of the dark shade and the lower line to lighten and make it look less dramatic. keep on blending to achieve the whole smoky effect. its supposed to look smoky (thus imperfect) so skip eye liner.
then add mascara.

You CAN use eyeliner, use a pencil, apply it on your upper lash line and blend it well with the dark shade you applied. And if you want your eyes to really get noticed, use eye-liner (or kajol) on your inner eyelids (upper and lower). (Don’t use it on your inner eyelids if you have tiny eyes, it’ ll make them look smaller)

I tried doing the smokey eye with this eyeshadow i bought, but the color was icky.. in the box it looks purplish, with glitter, but i put it on and it looks black..

that was the shadow, and on my eye it looked like this:

Then i tried the turqoise makeup, eh…

Pari, those r nice, but when ur uploading them, choose the fourth option (IMG images for message boards) becoz the pix r only thumbnails n really tiny so cant see anythin properly.. but u do hav beautiful eyes!! In the third one, is that a duputta ?

umm i cant c that pic !! (dunno why) but i think i used maybelline eyeliner (its the only liquid one i hav ).. mascara, the new loreal 1, the one wit aish int eh commerical
