Re: Eye Makeup!
All of these
ochre style.. sort of like a pale gold in the base
rite of spring.. its a highlighter to go under the brow
embark.. to make the smokey.. its a dark dark brown.. i prefer it over black for lid contouring
steamy is a frosty teal for lots of drama in the smokey for the middle and inner of the lid
indian wood paint pod.. for that bronzy shimmer..
Re: Eye Makeup!
Here's a look of ivory, ferozi and black eyeshadow which i did for an occasion - however the camera's flash has made the look of eyeshadow lighter yet it was a very intense 'evening' look.

Re: Eye Makeup!
how do women get that raised eyebrow look like this:
don’t tell me it has to naturally be that shape
Re: Eye Makeup!
^if u notice it is that shape..its just heavily filled in with eyebrow pencil/powder.
my eyebrows aren't as heavy as i'd like em to be so i fill them in with pencil, and I think it looks pretty natural.

so since it already has to be that shape, I can't force that shape for my eyebrows somehow?
It just looks so dramatic na
btw, sara nice eye makeup
Re: Eye Makeup!
^ You can grow them out and get them threaded a certain way?
Re: Eye Makeup!
When you go to get your eyebrows done next time, ask them to shape and arch them.
Re: Eye Makeup!
Best way is to thread/pluck any excess hair to create an ‘arch’ effect… then apply either dark brown or black pencil, then smudge it in/blend wid brush or finger… should help achieve dat look!
Re: Eye Makeup!
hey thanks guys, we’ll see what it turns out looking like on my face:hehe:…
Re: Eye Makeup!
i just wanted to recommend this mascara that i use its maybelline define a lash, the brush is abit different but it works wonders on my lashes :D
Re: Eye Makeup!
^not bad at all! i wanna learn how to put eye makeup on, im such an amature..i can't even do my eyeliner correctly ;(
Re: Eye Makeup!
^^
Best tip for ppl who arent too confident in applying makeup - i.e. eyeliner, is to start off wid minimum basic products in neautral tones... so if u do end up makin a mistake it wont look too bad... try practicing applying a pencil eyeliner (body shop's own brand or calvin klein's range is good in black/brown shade)... once u've mastered pencil eyeliner, start moving on to liquid eyeliners... goood luck wid it!
Re: Eye Makeup!
Hmm I have an interview coming up and wanted to look polished not ready to party. The usual shades that I use is brown/copper those L’oreal’s triple shades… Could anyone suggest how to look polished without looking overly done? I’m addicted to eyeliner and mascara otherwise I look like i just got up from my bed
I want to look like myself but only need sum tips… pleeeej:blush:
Re: Eye Makeup!
^ just use a little bit of foundation if u need it, fill in ur eyebrows (if needed) and one coat of mascara...and neutral lipstick that's not too shiny or shimmery. no eyeshadow needed.
Re: Eye Makeup!
thanks Sara:) Ur always here to help me;)
Re: Eye Makeup!
I’d jus conceal any areas dat need concealing, dust face wid a matte powder, n apply vry light neautral shade of blush on cheeks, then a little pencil eyeliner (instead of liquid) on top lashes (thinly applied), n a flick of mascara n vaseline on lips… dat shuld do..
