Re: Eye Makeup!
thx girlz
all of the colours i used were from this sephora palette:
And these are all of the shades i used:
So first i applied UDPP base. Then I applied the shimmery champagne color in my inner corner.
next I applied the orange color all over my lid and then I applied the dark orangy copper color in to my crease and blended it up to my brow bone.
next i deepened my outer corner and the crease by mixing the shimmery brown and the dark purple, and then I applied a teeny tiny bit of dark black on just the out corner keeping it well below my crease. Just on the outer V and then slightly blended it with the other colors but not too much otherwise if u blend it too much it will a get muddy and that defeats the purpose of having different shades peeking through. And lastly my brow color was the same as the inner corner color but just applied a little lighter than the inner corner.
In my pic u cant really see all of the different shades because the pic was taken with my crappy phone camera.
and the reason why i applied brown and dark purple even when i used black in the end was because i always build up the intensity gradually.
and it’s not a big deal if you skip the brown and the purple but i just did it cuz i like to have some dimension and its a lot easier while blending.
I always almost 99% of the time will use that coppery orange or any warm toned color between my brow bone color and the crease/outer corner, just because it gives a nice gradient effect so that there aren’t any harsh lines or color/tone difference between my outer corner shade and the brow bone shade.
I hope this helps =)
what brushes u use/recommend alysha?
Re: Eye Makeup!
honestly u wouldn’t believe this but i dont have a single mac or a sigma brush.
i just use a generic brush set that i go from wal mart. it had about 10 brushes , foundation brushes, stipple brush, and few eye brushes.
and i have a separate fluffy blending brush, and it’s actually a painter’s brush. it’s really fluffy and its soft but not too soft and that what i love about it. the reason why i don’t like super soft blending brushes is cuz they don’t blend very well. I personally like my blending brush to be not too soft.
and i have 3 basic eye shadow brushes from avon. yea thats about it lol
