Plus, since they're inexpensive, it's what I prefer to use when practicing. And I used a NYX Black Bean jumbo pencil as a base. But I found it creased a bit so I'll be using my MAC Blacktrack next time. I primed using Painterly by MAC and dusted w/ Laura Mercier loose powder. But it's a very generic black/brown smokey eye so you can do it with anything. :)

Thanks for the breakdown of the productss! I'm def gonna be doing this with my storm palette. i havent touched it yet so really excited to try it! NYX jumbo pencil in black bean is the only one i own from their jumbo pencils and i found it to be creasing aswell. Will be posting mine soon!!
^GORGEOUS! I love your blending skills! And I think you should brush your eyebrows upwards so the strays don't take away from the dramatic eyes. Super gorgeous!
^Use a spoolie or even a spare toothbrush and brush them upwards. Then you can use a clear mascara or any eyebrow gel to hold them in place. Orrrr you can spray a bit of hairspray on the spoolie/brush and brush them upwards. You can always neaten the remaining with some dark brown/grey eyeshadow.
But you are fantastic! I esp. loved that colorful/tropical colored one!

lining the entire eye with eyeliner, does it look overdone or is it proper to not wear bright lipstick and have the entire eye lined, like you can have either or but not both b/c then it looks overdone…right?

I personally usually wear nude/neutral colour lipstics.... but i guess u can wear anything as long your comfortable with it.
I lined my full eye cuz eyeliner is my most fav. ut obviously you can only line half, thin line, or a subtle smoked out liner.
and when if i do wear darker lip colours i dont do my eyeshadow i only line my eyes.
