Sara, I think it's the eye shadow colours and their textures. MAC, at least in my opinion, tends to be heavier and thicker in texture compared to other brands which are lighter. That is why so many make up artists use MAC to get dhulans ready ... the colours are stronger, show up better on desi skin, plus it lasts for the entire night. The lighter it eye shadow is, the easier it is to wear off. L'Oreal makes really light eye shadow. It's great for parties, but not for bridal wear. MAC, if you notice, does not wear off through out the night. The other eye shadows seem to 'melt'. I don't know, that is what I think. I may be wrong. :p
MAC eyeshadows are gorgeous. They come on darker than others and are richer in texture and color. You have to use a tiny amount to get a lot of color and they have a larger variety of colors. They are cheaper than most department store brands too.
Estee Lauder, Clinique eyeshadows tend to be more subtle. I can’t stand them.
Hmm alright! I have one mac , in electric eel.. (that was the scary blue pic i posted :p).. im tempted to get more like right now, but i gotta wait a coupla months n buy em from macys :(
hey, i was wondering if anyone has tried eye cakes from Pop. here is a picture of it. they come in many colours and each tin contains colours that compliment eachother.
kinda off topic since i don't usually put on eye shadow but after looking at all of your beautiful eye photos, I feel like giving it a try too:D . I actually was wondering what kind of concealor do you all use for under eye puffiness or dark circles. I used the one that looks like a lipstick but it doesn't work very well.
