And yeahhh you're right, I don't own any crazy coloured lashes though....it's time to invest in them me thinks hehe but thank youuuuu.

These are some eye makeup pix…PS…no stupid comments abt my contacts please 
I’m not really showing off here as much as trying to make sense of some things..Like here, the eye maekup was very intense in person and I used several shades of purple, including dark violet eyeliner…but in pix it came out pretty dull and really simple, as you can see.. I didn’t use primer here but I think I did use a little bit of concealor (Mac)
The second set of pix, they’re from a wedding I attended recently…I included pix of the clothes I wore cz when I did the makeup it looked pretty good and went well with the outfits…but again when looking at pics, it looked horrid to me! it all looks like one dull grey/silver color…I did use primer under my eye makeup in these pix, Mac’s Painterly…
I have seen ppl here claiming to use cheap drugstore palettes to make great looks so Im pretty sure it can’t be the quality of my makeup (which is mac/revlon/estee lauder etc)
Iused to be fairly good at this…so where am I going wrong? Why does it look so dull and weird in pix?

Sara do you use a primer potion over your lid? Maybe that's why the colours don't come out intense

I love the smokey look but I have sensitive eyes so, I can only use Mineral eyeshadows. My friends recommend the smokey eyeshadow kit set from PINK Espresso, I just can’t wait (I just placed my order yesterday )

Thanks....I used Bobbi Brown gel liner on the top, sleek black eyeshadow along the bottom and Hashmi kajal inside the eye..

here are some outfits that explains the shadow looks i went with, some of them were hits others were misses, lessons learned. It really is hard to take pics and get the color to show up.
Also if you add contrast to your pictures when editing the colors and show up a bit more.
oh and i love my gold glitter liner, it’s a cheap drugstore brand but i love it.
