i used nyx luxor, something silvery from body shop and can’t remember which black i used.

That looks lovely, and I’m loving that purple colour! You said you used a NYX eyeshadow, are they any good? My aunt used to be NYX rep and she has the eyeshadow testers, but she doesn’t need them anymore so she’s offering them to me. Shall I grab em while I can? 
BBQ I love ur smokey eye. Its not too dramatic and just right.
I did one using similar shades but made it more dramatic. Didn’t use falsies as i wanted to just try it at home and wasn’t going anywhere.
Its so difficult trying to take pics of ur own eye!! I have a SLR so i can’t even take them using a mirror so i’ve taken these shots blindly and cut out other bits.
For the first one i used, Print over the eyelid, mulch in the crease and on outer eyelid, Solar white as a highlight. soft brown above crease and Carbon on outer crease. blended all like crazy. I used tape on the edge of the eye to get the neat flick, Blacktrack to line the eyes. and a little bit of mulch on the lower lashline too.
I’ve never taken my eyeshadow out that far before but it really elongated my eyes and i rather like the look.
Second look i used blacktrack all over the lid, blue flame mineral eyeshadow (its quite messy to use as i had plenty of fall out but didn’t bother to clean it up)
Soft brown again in crease and solar white again as highlight. But the blue glitter from the blue flame eyeshadow looked really pretty as it glistened in the light.

oh i love nyx. they're so pigmented and pretty and soft. especially their line with the slight pearl sheen to it. so i would definitely grab all the free loot :D

Thanks for that! Yeah, NYX shadows have really good reviews on youtube and makeupalley, apparently they have quite a few MAC eyeshadow dupes as well! I’ll just need to find a place to store them

^ Take the picture as you were taking a picture of your whole face and zoom in on your eye. Should work! :)
^ That's right... take a pic of about half ur face then CROP the pic to just ur eye... Make sure the pic size is set to Large coz then when u crop the pic, the eye will still be big enough to see the makeup clearly.
