Great idea on how to apply the eyeliner Farrah! That is actually how my mom applies hers! She has been a painter her whole life and has always felt like she has more control and is more comfortable with a paintbrush

And yeah I didn’t use a black colour at all, I used Mac’s beauty marked and two browns and the vanilla eyeshadow.
thankyou marwah. gotten somewhere at least … i dont know how far is the day that i can do the whole eye look with your perfection 
i wish i had the courage (and skill) to put more strong color on my eyes. i always end up doing it VERY minimal.

ahhh … so the painters have different hands … lol … it’s true though … it’s so much more control and comfort with a paintbrush … i was beginning to think i’ll never be able to put it on properly.

What brown's did you use? I have beauty marked and a vanilla type shadow. I can't see the beauty marked though (a good thing), so where did you apply it?

thts very nicely done huma, I did something quite similar but I wont be posting coz my brows are looking like cockroaches atm haha!
Farrah ur eye liner is done very neatly.
Ok I lied. I did use a black thing :@:
1: Primed the eye with UDPP
2: Placed a little bit of Mac blacktrack gel eyeliner near the eyelashes and blended it on half the eyelid. I did this because i wanted to create a sticky base for beauty marked (if u’ve used it, you would know that its colour pay off isn’t that good on its own.)
3: Placed beauty marked on half the eyelid.
4: Placed Embark eyeshadow (a dark brown) on the remaining part of eyelid, up to the crease, and blended the two together.
5: Placed Wedge eyeshadow (a lighter brown) from the crease to a little bit below the brow bone. Blended with embark.
6: Placed vanilla on the brow bone and took the same brush over the entire eye to give it that shimmery effect (since both embark and wedge are matte colours).
The shimmer u see is because of vanilla and beauty marked.
The camera flash takes away a lot from the makeup look. Thats why the beauty marked isn’t that obvious.

Good stuff. I have Embark (good for filling in dark brown/black brows) and something like wedge so I may try this but god knows when. Other than some colour on my lowerlashline I haven't done colour eyemakeup in months.
^That's not a bad thing stoppit. We want to stay pwetty for as long as possible and makeup DOES age us!!

Errr lol. I still do proper makeup everyday. I just don't have time to do anything more than my everyday eye.

Since we’re on easter holidays for the next two weeks I’m taking a litttttle bit of time off before i get started on my project so I’m allowed to do as many makeup looks as I want

Can I just say that Noor Jehan used to scare me baaaaad when I was a little girl 
I used to change the channel if she came on the TV… all because of her dark makeup I guess!! So yeah I didn’t want to make it as dark as hers but I just wanted to capture her typical style of applying eyeshadow i.e. dark crease (not really blended) and light eyelid.

Oh and i forgot to mention one other thing… my crease was actually really dark , the camera flash made it look lighter … It looks wearable in the pics but when seen in real, the crease is very dark and I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing that makeup … Next time I’ll keep the camera flash bit in mind when applying makeup for this thread…
